Animal Sacrifice – Slaughtering of 28 cows & 5 sheep in Takhar province

28 cows & 5 sheep were slaughtered in Takhar provinces of Afghanistan. A total of 599 meat packages worth 2,331 kg were distributed to families facing acute malnutrition and poverty. As meat prices sky-rocketed in the last few months, fresh meat as a nutritious food will help decrease malnutrition among poor families.
